I have a female that I removed as a result of a snake call I got and she is about to lay eggs any day now. The people who called me witnessed two grey rats mating in their back yard and I was not able to be remove the male from a tree but was lucky enough to get the female before she got too high up in the same tree. She's quite dark though...probably one of the uglier grey ratsnakes I have ever seen.
