You seem to be doing okay so far. Just leave him alone for a while.
This is an arboreal specie so give him a place to hang out on. Additionally, they love to immerse themselves in water, in which case, an appropriately deep enough bowl would be good.

: He has no sighns of resperatory problems, is defensive, but not aggresive, and seems to be in good weight. Upon bringing him home, I wormed him with Thiobendazole(rid worm) and put him in his enclosure - Suprisingly the first thing he did was go to the waterbowl, on the floor of the cage, and drink, for some time. Hes a lovely snake, and Im intersted in ways to make his acclimation period as stress free (for both of us) as possable.
