Shady, Your snake is young. Hopefully he will settle down in time. Sounds like he is healthy.
Once you pick him up, does he settle down? He probably will. Avoid picking him up near his head. Get in there and get him halfway and scoop him up. The more you handle him, the more he will (hopefully) get used to being handled. Make sure you give him at least a couple of days after each meal before handling him...especially since he is young and jumpy. Don't want to get him into a puking routine. I read that rubber gloves may get you past the initial biting stage since they don't like the taste of the latex. You probably won't need to resort to that, though.

: My 3 way crossed corn snake ( snow corn yellow rat and bairds rat) ive had for about 5 months hes about 1 ft hes 7 months old. H ehas never refused a meal he has also been shedding well... but theres a problem with me handling him everytime i try to he will run and hide, try to bite, or even make this ratlling sound any ideas?
