I have a pair of adult Russians and they are the most dependable breeders I own. I brumate them for about three months at a temp of 50 degrees and they do great. As soon as my female is warmed up I just feed her up good, after she sheds I throw her in with the male and under the cover of darkness the do the deed. I have never witnessed actual breeding but she produces 100% fertile eggs every year-this will be her forth year now and she is in her pre-egg laying shed now. Russians are truly great snakes.
