Breeding?

I'm new to this board and hoped someone would have an answer to a question of mine. I havent kept snakes in years, and after finding a beautiful orange corn on the roadside two days ago i decided to keep it. This evening i found another and was unsure of whether wild corns should be housed together. I placed the new snake into the 55 gallon aquarium with the other and 30 seconds later the snakes were stretched out, wrapped around and twitching. Copulation?
