Thirty bucks is not a good price if the snake is wild caught. You will have to be concerned with deworming and other parasites. Plus, if you're near someone who has Dione's or Chinese twin-spotted rats, which are nicer rats from the same area which you might get for $40/ea., you should spend the extra ten for a quality animal. Just my opinion :)
