Texas Ratsnake never out from hiding during the day......

I have a 1 1/2 year old Leucistic Texas Ratsnake and the only
time she comes out from under the substrate or her hide box
is when I take her out to feed her. I don't know if she's nocturnal or not. I asked the breeder and he said probably not....Any help
