I have a 3 year old Leuc.Texas Ratsnake that doesn't want to be handled. I purchased her at a show from a breeder 2 1/2 years ago. She has no problem eating but whenever I try to handle her, her tail shakes like a rattler and she emits a musky odor and goes in a strike position. When she does bite me, she does not hold on. When I pick her up she will not stay still. She's a real beauty, my wife picked her up for me as an anniversary gift, she looks like a rattler with her pattern and her belly is half pink half white as she is the carrier of the Leucistic gene.
Her mother was all white.....Any comments would be appreciated......
