I dont think there are any subspecies (yet) but they are wide ranging, occuring in Borneo,Sumatra,Thailand,Malaysia, and dozens of the islands in between.
So that could explain the wide variation in appearance. Its hard to say if they will keep a solid yellow stripe.
It is a nice looking baby though.
