Hello Kirk
Oh yes using Vapona on Gonyosoma is gambling with their lives. Unlike all other ratsnakes, that I have kept, they react on almost any trace of it. I used it some years ago on 5 wild caught oxycephala with the described amount of Vapona. After 2 hours I heard a strange noice from their boxes. They could not control their movements and was crawling on their sides et looked like a epileptic attack. Their tongues were hanging out and they did not seem to feel my presence at all. I emidiately removed the snakes from the boxes, but they continued this behaviour for many hours. It took a week before they were looking normal again, and I am sure that I came in the last moment. They became nice animals later on, but unlike the other oxycephala I have had, they never had any breeding behaviour. It is maybe not caused from this toxification, but on the other hand....
Best wishes
Søe
