Albino whatgive us the species. At any rate, a 16" rat snake from North America is not very old. At that size, depending on its bulk (and species) it may be able to handle a fuzzy mouse a week. Otherwise, certainly multiple pinkies, as many as three a week, or a couple every five days.
Get rid of that Calci-Sand, too. I use paper towels with all my snakes. They don't mind it at all, and it's cleaner and safer for them. Cheaper than any pet-store crap, too.
: Sorry about lack of info. I'm a begginger at both rat snakes and forums. Anyways he's a North American albino approximately 16" long. I'm not sure on the exact age, the gentleman at the pet store is finding out for me. I do know that he was captive born and his previous substrate was hardwood shanvings (I'm using T-Rex Calci-Sand). Anymore information you can share with me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
