Uneven shedding

Hi guys,

This morning, I found that my gonyosoma had started shedding. Problem is, the shed is only up to its neck and makes it look like a frilled dragon in threat display mode.

Should I let nature take care of itself or peel off the remaining skin? Is it dangerous as I've heard of snakes dying due to incomplete shedding? Please help.
