Thanks for all the responses. It seems that most who responded feel the little one would not be very good at being a wild snake. I've only had hime over the winter, but he has tamed down quite a bit in that time. My next question then would be about parasites. A couple of you suggested "worming". When I got the snake my impression was that he was very recently hatched and perhaps had not taken a feed as of yet. His stools always look "normal" compared to the corn snake I keep (a snow corn). The snake was very clean, and has no obvious signs of internal or external parasites...not so much as a single funky looking scale or suspicious looking poo. Should I take any further action, or are the last 5.5 months evidence enough that the snake is healthy? Thanks again for everyones thoughts...
