What I think is I'd check the background real good on those for $3200 investment. I've never heard of a melanistic corn or emoryi, unless it's an anerythristic someone is calling melanistic. There are pure amelanistic emoryi, but I've never heard of hypo either. As far as I know the only way to get hypo or anerythristic is to cross emoryi with a corn making it a hybrid, not pure emoryi. If I'm wrong, I'd like to hear, 'cus melanistic and hypo emoryi would be big news. Did you ask on the Corn Forum?
