HELP! My rat snake is dead!

I woke up today and I found my black rat snake dead! She was belly up and very stiff. She was a baby and very healthy. She had eaten a pinkie 3 days ago and has always been healthy w/ no RI's or anything. Why would she just suddenly die? All the temps were fine (86 degrees on warm side and 79 on cool side) and she was fine last night. What happened?
