Judy,
Matt Meade who lives in Huron, Ohio caught a legitimate leucistic black rat snake several years ago. He bred them for several years and sold hets and leucistics at the Ohio shows (he no longer works with them). Several people in Ohio are working with Matt's stock (I am not), but since the ODNR ruling on native Ohio herps (which does not exempt albinos or any other obviously captive bred color morphs), most breeders of black rats are keeping a low profile. It is certainly possible that people have created intergrades, and your best bet would be to consult a serious rat snake book and see if there are differences in scale counts or some other distinguishing features to see if you have a true black rat bloodline.
