buttermilk definate insectivore,,,,,,,?/!?

my female buttermilk that recently laid eggs has a definate taste for crickets,ive never got her to eat mice pinks or otherwise,so i was catching her anoles,geckos,skinks etc,and she prefered skinks but being that i could not find many,i threw in 2 black crickets from the yard and she pounced on the crickets right away so the next day i went and bought 2 dozen crickets from the petstore and i have never seen a snake eat so fast all 2 dozen in 15 mins. ,,so is this a satisfactory diet? providing i dust them sometimes,its much easier to go buy crickets than hunt lizards all the time so any advise is appreceated thanks,,,,,,thomas
