blue racers grow around 3-5 foot or so...they are really alert and active snakes like the coachwhip. some people say they are really aggressive but the ones i've been catching were i live had never bit me before..only 1 time when i cornered it and grabbed it when it was out in the wild. since they are a really active snake they would prob. need a nice size cage...(sorry i dont know the size). i know u need some hidding places for it and heating lamps and that kind of stuff. hope some of this helps u out
