I keep my Drymobius under same the conditions as my Heterodon, but I pulverize once per day. I put a hiding place in cold zone and a hiding place in the hot zone.
They eat very well but only live little mouses.
they are not shy and are active all the day. They never try to bite me. They just sometime strike with nose, but usually I can handle them.
