Before a snake sheds, it is not uncommon to see what look like hemorage underneath the belly scales. Once the animal sheds, you should see this disappear. If it continues you can have problems. Set aside a humidity box instead of misting/wetting the whole cage all the time. I have large water bowls for the snakes to soak and after they go opaque, I start to spray down the cage daily until they shed. I also soak them frequently to help with the shedding.
