:Wonderful birds... But even with all those unique little "learned" sounds, I'm sure it can't beat the SCREAM of a Cockatoo!!

:Mark

::birds on the python forum.. hehe.. but heres mine to show off.. i took the first pics of them ever the other night, with my newer digital cam.. pretty crappy pics.. need to try when its daytime, have better light, and when they're more willing to sit still, instead of me bugging them when they would rather be sleeping.. hehe..

::anyway, this is Apollo, my grey.. he's around 18, and i'm his third and permenant home. he lived in a bar for a while, and lived off of seed, beer and peanuts for many years.. needless to say he has a huge creative vocabulary that he uses approprietly, as well as tons of other things.. every electronic and otherwise sound in the house(water trickling into a glass from the faucet, squeek of our old fridge, the squeek of the front door opening, the phone, microwaves, ect), voices of everyone in the house, talks to the cats and dogs, yadda yadda.. I just got him swithed onto Harrison's pellets, so hopefully his feather quality will improve some.. he actually prefers it over seed now.. but he's very much my bird.. will rip the hand off anyone else who tries to go near him, but loves me to death. i'm his pet person ;)

::and this is Squeeker, my meyers. I bought her right after she weaned at our store.. fell in love with her, as did she with me, and started biting other people. So i just took her home.. hehe. I love her.. she makes all sorts of little squeeks and beeps, and says "HI!" very emphatically that she learned from the grey..
::she's around 8 months old, and molting in her yellow crown finally.
