I agree completely about not directly uploading from the camera, and using high compression. It bugs me when people have photos that are 640x480 and 800k!

I like setting compression on '5' in photoshop. It dramatically cuts down on file size compared to straight-from camera, but there's still not a lot of compression artifacts.

If anybody has Windows XP, on Microsoft's web site, there is a powertoy that adds a resize option to the right-click menu. It is very handy for resizing multiple pics at once.
