:Turtles don't "learn" how to swim. It's what aquatic turtles do, they swim! My Painted and Map hatchlings, the size of a quarter. Came home to a 120 Gallon tank. 4'long, 2'wide, and 1'deep. Get the biggest thing you can afford/handle. Upgrades are costly, and it's hard finding someone to buy your old equipment. Unless you give it away, then they'll be lined up at your door.
