Oregon Alligator Lizard Q

I live in southern IL in the USA.
My yard is mainly partially shaded due to trees but I have
a well drained SW side that is fenced in.
I was wondering how you think a n.alligator lizard might fair
here and what provisions I would have to make to "fix" climatic differences. How much time do these guys need to bask, I have not used native lizards because I dont know if theyd get enough sun and Ive always read the n alligator lizards stay on the cooler side
