:I checked with the NJ Div of wildlife and they informed me that only NJ zoo's and nature centers are allowed to keep 'normal' cornsnakes.

Sad but true. I talked to Danny (our president) yesterday and he said even the Liberty Science Center had to jump through hoops to get a permit for the museum!!

:DOES NJHS DO ANYTHING TO TRY AND HAVE THIS LAW CHANGED?

Believe me, we have been trying, but without the support and backing of our members it will remain a vain effort.
