Is that lymes disease really effective? I never really looked into it, if it DOES what it says it does, I will get it. But I think I remember somebody telling me not to get it for some reason. Ticks do seem to have areas which they infest more than others. Usually I average 10 ticks per day hiking in the bush. Sometimes I would get 1-2, sometimes none, then the ticks explore and I got 30+ on each of us that one crazy day.

Im going to look into that vaccination.

: i live with it, i got lyme disease last summer as well. not a big deal. as for you ask your doctor about getting the lyme vacination. its 95% effective (of course i was one of the stupid 5%). but they really dont bother me anymore what i do is i pick them off as i see or feel them in the woods when i get home i jump straight in the shower and put my close in a plasic garbage bag. pick all the ticks off me and then spray some bug spray actually in the plastic bag with your close seal it back up and let it be for a few days then wash them. Also be aware of the symptoms of lyme disease most effective is the rash, if you go in the woods alot and have a circular rash apear one day go to the doctor asap the quicker you catch lyme disease the easier. i beleive i was only on antibotics for 2 weeks and i got rid of it before even having any illness. there also seems to be tick "hot spots" and they seem to have no pattern you could walk through a nice wildlife rich area get no ticks, then walk past one plant miles from anything and get 30 ticks on you. *shrug*
