I am glad that your IG is in fine health, and I know I am happy as a clam when mine gets a clean bill as well. But if you can find a more herp knowledgeable vet to go to, you may want to think on it. The only thing that he was able to do that you can't do at home is the stool sample, and I don't think that should raise the cost that much. I have vet that specializes in exotic pets, and there ought to be one near you somewhere, if you are concerned about the care...

: hi i took my 3 year old iguana for his 1stcheckup yesterday the vet was nice but all she did was check his heart beat feel his leg tell me his skin was not dry looked in good health and checked stool for fecal tests grand total $183.00 i was surprised but iam happy hes ok .
