As the others have mentioned, tigers will never be a good vivarium pet because they naturally burrow. You can still enjoy them for what they are though. I'd recommend putting them into an opaque, plastic storage container and keeping them in a darker corner of the room rather than trying to make them a display species. The container mimics a burrow much better than a standard glass tank and they often do not hide within it. You'll find they'll get tame too, and interact with you when you lift the lid for feeding.

If you want more visible species, get newts.
