Worried about sal eggs

I went out to check on the spotted sal eggs out back, and I noticed that somehow one of the sacs had torn open. this must have happened shortly before I walked by, because some of the eggs were intact but outside the sac. They are nowhere near the hatching phase, though. Can these survive, or do they need the protection of the sac around them? If it's likely that the eggs will wash away and die without the protective covering, I'll collect them and raise them indoors.
