i'v gotten that don't mix species alot here but my tank is like one big happy family you wouldent believe how many of the don't mix rules i've broken i'v got a big mudskipper my hoggish newt an extreamly mean betta (only to guppys) and a corydora along with a fbt anmd a school of guppys i had a pleco but he insisted on living in the shallow water of my bettas swamp part and died due to low water line. also a foot long rubber worm eel makes infrequent visits from under the 35+ lbs of gravel on the land side. but i don't see him much. this tank has been going strong for around a year with no problems.
