I believe that both fish2u.com and East Bay Vivarium both claim to be currently carrying Paramesotriton. I've also seen pyrrhogaster on EBV but the website states they are sold out. You could always contact them for a more updated availability. You could also look for other hobbiests/breeders on the United States Caudate Registery and caudata.org. However if you are looking for wholesalers I'm afraid I can't be of much help.

:Greetings all-- could anyone on this forum point me to a supplier of _TRUE_ Japanese fire-bellied newts (Cynops pyrrhogaster) and any of the warty newts of the genus Paramesotriton. So far everybody who has shipped to me has sent me oriental (Chinese)fire-bellies rather than the species I ordered. I'd like to get about a half dozen of each. Thanx/Dick
