Beautiful aberrant California Newt photos!

A friend of mine found this beautiful male (and his normal female friend) in the Los Angeles area. They have already been released, but if anyone has any input on this male, it would be appreciated.

Is he hypo? Is anyone familiar with this in newts?

I'm going to try to post all eight photos here, but if they don't work, I'll post them individually.

Also, I posted these in the field collecting forum, so I apologize in advance for the cross posting.
