I went searching for salamanders a couple weeks ago. We found a bog that had hundreds of newts. Here is a picture of a newt orgy, you can only see 4 clearly, but there were probably around 12 involved. Over the past month or so we've also found pacific giant, northwestern, western redback, dunn's, ensatinas, and columbia torrent(Olympic)salamanders.
