:I just bought some frozen bloodworms...how do i feed them to my newt? Do i put them in a bowl for him to eat out of? Someone told me newts need to be in water to eat?

I have found that my CFBN wont eat unless the food is right up against his nose where he can smell it. I read on this forum that with wet finger, kind of clump the worm up into an edible little ball of worms. Then I put that ball rihgt up against his nose, and he goes right for it. Works very well for me, as I had thought I had an ill newt for awhile. I know it isnt the best to put my hands in the water, but I make sure they are very clean and free of soap and sediment before I go in.
