thats horrible, im so sorry for you =(
same with live mice/rats/rabbits and snakes/lizards, lots of critters get hurt/killed from the prey even if the owner is supervising the kill...crickets are pretty nasty little bugs. I have a 10g where im trying to breed them but occasionally pull them out for newt/frog/turtles/fish ..they dont last 2 seconds..lol...
