A turtle would bite a newt in half. My brother and I used to morbidly joke about how few seconds it would take for his red-eared slider turtle to finish off all my japanese firebelly newts...it wouldn't be long! Don't try it. You'll end up with a fat turtle and no newts.

: My mom wants to know if newts can live with turtles...i told her no...but wants more people to tell her...can they? is there any with no toxins? thnx
