That's nice Leo. I should go to Italy to see so many Triturus in a same small pond. Actually JFB don't share any other newts in the wild. Because JFB is the only newt lives in main land Japan. But JFB share with most of pond type Hynobius salamanders during breeding time. JFB eat Hynobius larvae. Echinotriton andersoni
larvae and Cynops ensicauda also share pond. I'm keeping Cynops ensicauda popei and Paramesotriton chinensis in the same 10 gal tank without any problem.
