Do salamanders/newts eat woodlice[pillbugs]

I have an overabundance of woodlice in my garden,I think they are called pillbugs in the US,and was wondering if I could feed them to my newts and salamanders.
I know that frogs eat them, as a friend feeds them to his frogs all the time.
