Hi,
I don't know if this is the best of ideas but when my cats, dogs, chickens, etc. get sick I give them tetracyclin. Its an antibiotic that can be put in solution. Its really effective but is most commonly taken orally by the sick/infected animal. Maybe if you put tetracyclin (oxytetracyclin) in the water the leg would be less likely to get infected. Just an idea.

: with no residue medical tape. you can get it from a medical supply stor or maybe a pharmacy, i had a lizards like that.
