Well thats an incredible snake. It makes me wonder if the trait is recessive and why its selected against. You brought it home, are you planning some longer term breeding projects to check the inheritance of the coloration?
Many of your photos didn't come though on that other forum. I was looking forward to the pics of the nerodia but they failed to load.
