Plain belly, erythrogaster. The dorsal "stripes or bars" across the back are evident as on my red belly. The darker less obvious blotches outlined by light scales are like my yellow belly (which I'm still debating to be n.e. flavigaster) since blotched/transversa typically maintain a full pattern of rhombus markings at all ages.
Since it is a juvenile and assuming that only the dorsal bars will remain at adulthood, my guess is ... a young red belly n.e.e.
So, what colour is it's tummy?
