Every two to four days is perfect! Also, smaller meals every two days would likely be fine. I suspect water snakes feed more frequently in the wild but also have to work quite hard for it. So, there is no absolute law in this area. Sounds like your little snake has very low stress which is great. A cool humid spot is also ideal. Maybe you should be considering a mate for him in the future ...
