Jan, do you have access to photos of other natrix species being raised at home? Seeing as how our Nerodia were called natrix for so long ... they're kin! Besides, I'd like these guys to see some patterns/colours that are'nt familiar to us on our N.American semi-aquatics. I think they'd appreciate them, relative max. size as well as the fact that they are'nt as out-right aggressive.
This generation of herpers is the cutting edge, first time rearing of Nerodia from wild and captive bred snakes in North America. With wild specimens having true multiple colour phases, the very near future is going to see some pretty amazing things.
