FL Greens (N. floridana) get quite a bit longer than the Mississippi Greens (N. cyclopion) and are a tad bit bigger than Diamonbacks. In fact, the record FL Green was 74"!!! Compare that to records of 50" and 63" for cyclopion and rhombifer. I've never seen a Diamondback in the wild, but I can honestly say that the few Greens I've caught were BEASTS!

I apologize for the shirtless pic, but I had just dried off after going into the lake after this MONSTER female. I have seen two DORs near the same location that were slightly bigger.
