IMHO, there is not set schedule from specimen to specimen.I offer a few small meals a few times a week. Basically I give as much fish as they will eat in a sitting twice a week, but you should always adjust to feeding methods that work for your particular animals. Due to metabolism, conditions, size ect you should adjust to the general appeareance of the snake. Waters and garters do have quicker metabolisms than most other colubrids and feed more often. Dwight;s rule will work with some specimens, but not with others. It is a good rule of thumb though, but always remember to adjust to the appearence of the animal. Good luck. Andy
