Well, 9 of the babies didn’t make it. The three I though might are up moving around. One is pretty skinny but is still active. I haven’t seen any of them eat yet but the most robust baby was sure watching a mealworm that dropped onto the paper towels.

And, as promised, here are some pics of the new babies:

This one is to give you an idea of just how tiny a baby is at 2 ½” length! That tub is one of those Rubbermaid things that are about the size of a tall shoe box.

There won’t be any more for quite a while, as the oldest eggs shouldn’t hatch until sometime in August if I remember correctly.
