I'm not saying anything neg.about anyone's posts,so don't bother attacking me.[you know who tou are]At the zoo,we feed all albigularus this diet:Ground turkey mixed w/raw egg and frozen into meatballs,then thawed/crickets/frozen/thawed chicks/quail chicks/pigeons for the big guys/Rats once a week.They predate mainly on snakes,lizards,and invertabrates in the wild,these are all very low in fat,like the stuff I recommended.Don't even get on the Salmonella kick,it doesn't hurt the monitors,just their owners.If you are worried about Salm.,don't own albigularus.We raised an Ionides from a baby to 6'6" on this diet.we never would consider any foods designed for other animals.Would you feed your dog a diet that consisted of snakes and lizards?He COULD live on it,but how healthy would he be?
