So you dont get to much hope in the handling thing Ill warn you. Ive had a few monitors that were very friendly and when loose sought myself and other people out or enjoyed attention, but they are a few of many that were all individuals with very different personalities. On average a monitor likes to be with others of their own species and some tolerate handling as mentioned by someone else to get what they want. Many tame or friendly monitors are not healthy, many are. Its like putting you in a room with someone you dont know anything about and finding out if you will get along, its a gamble. Ive seen beardies that dont appreciate being handled at all either so thats a chance you would take as far as buying one. Good luck if none of this scares you off.
