You can get them from Carolina biological in egg form. They grow to a large size in about a month or so when kept under appropriate conditions. I used to feed them to chameleons back in the late 90's, but have never tried them with monitors.

Food powder can be purchased and mixed with water to form a paste that is fed to them throughout their lives. Caution- some companies that manufacture this food uses certain ingredients that can be harmful when ingested by reptiles. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the company that makes it without these harmful ingredients.

All in all, it is most likely not worth the work and/or expense to use these.
