Hi, I agree that it should be larger. Here is my deal... I figure that at the very least they are not giving it a 2 foot wide cage like somebody out there now who is claiming to be a blackthroat expert because they have bred them (they do not frequent this forum to the best of my knowledge). We always give our monitors large cages, probably larger then most people. I do not know if ours are healthier than others or not, i simply know they are healthy here. Cheers, Andrew

ps, this is a 7x2.5 enclosure for animals that only get 24, our largest is only 22".
